Narrate Terms of Service

Last updated 3 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Narrate, an app made by Telepromptme Studios. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. We've kept them short and in plain language; if anything is unclear, email [email protected] and we'll gladly help.

The short version

  • Use the app for anything lawful. What you create with it is yours.
  • Purchases are made through Apple, and Apple handles refunds.
  • We work hard to make the app reliable, but it is provided as is.

Your licence

Narrate is licensed to you, not sold. Your use of it is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies alongside these terms. You may use the app on any Apple device you own or control, as the App Store usage rules allow.

Your content

Scripts, recordings and anything else you create belong to you, and we claim no rights over them. Your content is stored on your device and, if you turn on sync, in your own iCloud account, so we cannot see or recover it. Please keep your own backups of anything important.

Using the app responsibly

Please use Narrate lawfully. You are responsible for what you create with it and for having the rights to any scripts, media or other material you bring into it. If you record, transcribe or translate other people, it is up to you to get their consent where the law requires it.

Purchases

Narrate is free to download, and optional in-app purchases unlock more. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms, and refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Updates and availability

We may update Narrate to add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering it. Some features depend on your device, your operating system version or Apple services, and may not be available everywhere.

No warranty

To the extent the law allows, Narrate is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to make it dependable, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Telepromptme Studios is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Privacy

How Narrate handles information is explained in its privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date, and continuing to use the app means you accept them.
