Narrate Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 June 2026

Narrate keeps your videos, scripts and recordings on your device. We don't collect or upload your projects.

This policy explains what information Narrate does and does not handle, and how your privacy is protected. We've written it in plain language; if anything is unclear, email narrate@telepromptme.com and we'll gladly help.

The short version

  • We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name or email to use the app.
  • Your content stays on your device — we don't upload, sell or share it.
  • Purchases are handled by Apple — we never see your payment details.

Information we collect

Narrate is designed to work without collecting personal information. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not gather your name, email address, contacts or location for our own use.

Your content

Scripts, recordings and projects you create are stored locally on your device under your control. If you choose to enable iCloud sync, that content is stored in your own private iCloud account, governed by Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy — not by us.

Camera & recordings

When you record video, Narrate needs access to your camera and microphone. Recordings are saved to your device and to your photo library only when you choose to save them. We have no access to them.

Purchases

In-app purchases and any subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive anonymous, aggregated sales information from Apple and never see your card number, billing address or other payment details.

Diagnostics

If you opt in through your device's settings, Apple may share anonymised crash and usage diagnostics with us to help us fix bugs and improve the app. This data is not tied to your identity, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Third parties

We do not sell or rent your information, and Narrate does not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. The only third party involved is Apple, in its role as the platform and payment provider.

Children's privacy

Narrate is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your control

Because your content lives on your device (and, optionally, your iCloud account), you can delete it at any time by removing it in the app or deleting the app. If you have any request regarding your privacy, contact us and we'll respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
